When I first found the key to the tower of love, I just felt,
Alright!
But after a while I couldn’t help wondering who the guy was and what happened to the key bearer.
And this is I think what happened and how the Voids operate. According to the Hunter’s Note, the Collector is supposed to be trapped in the tower of love. So it’s safe to think the guy somehow tricked it, locked it up and ran away with the key, after founding he’s about to be overwhelmed. But I’m not quite convinced that the simple, physical lock could stop the THING, as he’s lying dead there with the black void leaking his eyes. That’s why I made my story this way. As a whole, it doesn’t make much difference anyway.
